About Us

Vasquez Martial Arts Association – known as VMAA -is a non-profit, 501 c-3 organizations established to promote physical and mental well being through the martial arts.  In addition it provides it members and the community opportunities to participate in educational, cultural and competitive programs.  In association with other national and international Martial Art and Olympic Sport organizations that function in conjunction with other Taekwondo affiliates like USTA, AUU, USOC, WTF, VMAA works at the local level to provide opportunities that would not be in reach for many in the community.

In order to provide these events and services, VMAA needs support from individuals, groups and corporations.  We run several fundraising activities a year.  See our “I want to help” page for ways you can participate to help us reach our goal of providing positive intervention in the lives of America’s youth.

The Internal Revenue Service issued a determination letter dated January 1996 which recognizes the VMMA  as exempt from Federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code section 501 (c) (3)  The I.R.S. has stated that donors may deduct contributions to the VMMA as provided in section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
